Matter Types

Matter types refer to the classifications used to organize legal documents and cases based on their nature, subject matter, or legal context to help manage, retrieve, and analyze legal information.

1. On the left-side of your dashboard on the admin page, select matter types from the list of menu items.

1. Click the green + Add matter type on the top right hand corner of your screen to begin adding a matter type.

1. Type the name of the matter type and click Save.
