This is a guide to how Journals are Uploaded in our site.

Journals are professional publications that contain legal research, analysis, and commentary. They are valuable resources for legal practitioners, researchers, and students and are there to provide insights into legal developments, case law interpretations, and legislative updates.

How to Upload a Journal

  1. Select journals from the list of menu items on the dashboard.

  1. Click the "Add Journal" button

  1. Type in the key details. The fields with * are compulsory and must be populated.

  • Title: This is the journal title.

  • Jurisdiction: Select the relevant jurisdiction from the dropdown list (e.g., Kenya, South Africa).

  • Locality: If applicable, specify the locality.

  • Date: Select the date of publication using the provided dropdown fields.

  • Language: Choose the language of the journal.

  1. Upload File: Click "Choose File" and select the journal document from your device.

Assigning Taxonomies

  1. Click on the Taxonomies tab.

  1. Locate the "Topics" section, which includes various categories, and select the appropriate topic

Utilizing taxonomies helps classify the journal properly

  1. Click save.

  2. Click view on site to view the journal.

  3. To make edits to the journal you added, Click the edit button on the top left corner of the journal.

  4. Make the necessary changes and click save again.
